“This chapter seemed fairly important because it consisted of all the different cables, connectors, inputs and outputs that make up a studio whether at home or in a professional environment. Signal flow or the path a signal takes from beginning to end, seems to be the main subject consisting of all the different connectors mentioned in this chapter. Anywhere from standard audio connectors, analog cables with balanced and unbalanced connections, digital cables, and patch bays were all mentioned in this chapter. All in all, I think the most important is getting to know all the different cords/wires/connectors and their purposes and all that comes with time in the studio.”
Every week we ask our students to review how they are progressing with our program.
