One on One Learning | A Real Advantage.

Los Angeles based audio engineer Nathan Jenkins who mentors with Recording Connection discusses the advantages of learning one-on-one with the mentored student externship approach. Instead of learning in a crowded classroom or fighting over studio time in a campus lab, the Recording Connection places students inside a real recording studio where they get one on one learning and training directly from a professional audio engineer, sound technician, music producer or studio owner.

This means aspiring music makers and audio engineers learns can learn at their own pace, get their questions answered, and tailor the curriculum to their specific goals. Additionally, by being in a professional environment, instead of a campus one, Recording Connection students learn how the music business operates by experiencing it on a daily basis. While doing so, they are able to establish connections within the music industry, the same connections that can turn into jobs upon graduation—and in some cases, even sooner.
