If you live in:
Fisherman's Wharf, Haight-Ashbury, Castro District, Nob Hill, Mission District, Presidio, Richmond, Hayes Valley, Pacific Heights, Russion Hill, Excelsior, Daly City, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Pacifica, Sausalito, Mill Valley, Oakland, Burlingame, San Mateo, Half Moon Bay, Palo Alto, San Jose, Alameda, Berkeley, San Rafael, Hayward, Mountain View or other neighborhood or suburb of San Francisco, we invite you to schedule a tour of our nearest campus to see for yourself why The Recording Connection is endorsed by some of the biggest names in the music business.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all of our recording studio classrooms have openings for new externs at any given time, and you will still need to "ace" your interview with the studio's mentor to be accepted.
This is what we mean by hands-on learning: a room full of gear, just you and your mentor, and the kind of access to use the gear that most audio students only dream about. You can’t learn this stuff sitting in a classroom or in front of a computer screen: you have to see the gear, touch it, even make mistakes with it. Don’t worry—your mentor will be right there to guide you step by step, instructing you, correcting you, helping you hone your skills, and teaching you his own secrets, all to help you find your own niche sound.
There’s something else that’s awesome about your campus: it’s a place of music history. Depending on the studio you choose to be your San Francisco recording school, you’ll be standing in the same hallowed rooms where some of the greats have recorded their best work. From counterculture icons like the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin, to rock icons like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Green Day and Journey, to hip-hop/R&B icons like MC Hammer and Tupac, to modern tastemakers like Bassnectar, G-Eazy and tUnE-yArDs, San Francisco recording studios have hosted hundreds of the world’s most influential artists—including the studio in which you’ll be learning the ropes.
So this recording studio is much more than your personal classroom or campus: it’s a place where greatness is born. Are you ready for greatness? Are you ready to become part of music history? You couldn’t be in a better place to do it. We’re ready when you are.
