Welcome to Your Portland Campus

When we say hands-on, we mean THIS. Imagine being in a world-class recording studio stocked with more gear than you can dream of, with the undivided attention of a producer/engineer mentoring you on how to use it all! You’d never get this kind of access or practice inside a classroom or with an online course: to learn this gear, you have to touch it, play with it, even make mistakes on it. Every step of the way, your mentor will be standing by to steer you in the right direction, helping you hone your skills and teaching you tricks of the trade that no textbook ever teaches.

Not only do you have great gear to work with—think about the history within these hallowed halls. Depending on the studio you choose to be your own Portland campus, some of the world’s best music has been recorded right in these rooms. From early punk and alt-rock greats like Hole and The Shins to modern-day hitmakers like Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists and Tegan and Sara, some of the industry’s most influential artists have made music history in Portland recording studios, including the one in which you’ll be attending class.

So this recording studio is much more than your personal classroom or campus: it’s a place where greatness is born. Are you ready for greatness? Are you ready to become part of music history? You couldn’t be in a better place to do it. We’re ready when you are.
