The Eureka Recording Connection
Looking for a great music school in Eureka to learn audio engineering? Look no further than the RECORDING CONNECTION, the Eureka Music School that gets you working inside an actual Eureka recording studio as an audio student apprentice (extern) while you learn your choice of audio engineering, mixing, music production, live audio, electronic music-and its many sub-genres (dub step, drum and bass, techno, jungle and more), club DJ and post production audio. In Eureka, one of the best places to learn recording is inside a Eureka recording studio as an apprentice (extern). We’re the school that can get your foot in the door.
You don’t have to spend upwards of 50 thousand dollars to go school; you can go to music school in a real recording studio for far less. The choice is clear! Play it smart, get on the inside track, and make vital industry connections while learning in a real-world environment. Our music recording school can train you on-the-job effectively and affordably.
Located on Humboldt Bay along the northern California coastline, Eureka, California is home to around 25,000 people, having primarily grown up around the timber industry. Among the notable musicians hailing from this area are singer Sara Bareilles, singer Mike Patton (lead vocalist for Faith No More and Dillinger Escape Plan), and multi-instrumentalist El Hefe of the punk band NOFX.
Despite its small size, Eureka is home to its own music scene, with many of the areas live venues located in the historic Old Town district. A number of recording studios also call Eureka home, accommodating the needs of area musicians. If you are considering a career in audio as a recording engineer, live audio engineer or music producer, Eureka holds a surprising amount of opportunity for you.
The secret to the RECORDING CONNECTION’s success is our mentor-apprentice (extern) approach, in which we pair you with a working professional in the recording industry who will personally train you on real recording and audio projects. In this way, we’re able to put you closer to the action than you could ever get in a classroom. Enroll in our Eureka Music Recording School today, and discover why over 70% of our graduates go on to permanent industry jobs.

Of Our Graduates Get
Jobs in the Music Business
Our outstanding job placement rate is no accident. We are able to achieve this high mark because our graduates have trained inside a working recording studio. This gives our students excellent hands-on skills, real-world job experience, and the industry connections and references that just aren’t available on a school campus. Additionally, we have a very proactive Stay Connected Job Assistance Program that serves as our graduates’ advocate in the job market for up to a year after course completion. When we say we’re connected with the music business, we mean it.Read our student success stories.
