Boston Recording Connection Reviews

The Best Place to Learn Audio Engineering is a Real Recording Studio
“The experience overall, I just love the people, with my passion for music I felt like I was at home… It’s amazing…A normal day… basically I go in, we review over lessons, we take from our Recording Connection workbook, that’s on a weekly basis. My mentor, she just goes and shows the students hands-on how to work like the mixers, wiring up instruments and learning how to patch up and learn how to get that into Pro Tools. It’s pretty cool.”

“My first day with my mentor was awesome!!! I feel as though we have similar personalities and we like similar stuff in music. I can easily see myself being able to work with her on any level. So, a couple of other externs and I started off with a “get to know each other on a music level” base and shared our interests. Then, we reviewed Lesson 1 assigned to me by the actual Recording Connection program. Lastly, my mentor had me listen to a few pieces of music to elaborate on our listening skills and had us point out how many instruments we heard within a song. That was pretty much it for the first session. For next week, she discussed that I will be doing a project on a live song that I am going to try to remake it. Everything is really great since I have joined the Recording Connection.”
