About the New Jersey Recording Connection Audio Institute
The New Jersey Recording Connection is one of the most successful and acclaimed audio engineering schools in the country. We operate with a unique blend of cutting edge curriculum and real world mentorship. Recording Connection students are paired with a mentor, placed in a real recording studio, and taught the tricks of the trade on-the-job. That’s more than any other music production school can boast, or even attempt.
The Recording Connection is located in nearly every city in New Jersey, including Edison, Newark, New Brunswick, Trenton, Atlantic City and more. If we’re not in your town, and you want to attend our music production classes, we’ll open a new location, just for you.
Making connections in this industry is critical, so we put a huge emphasis on it. By training you in a real recording studio near where you live, we put you in the right place at the right time so that you can meet the right people. You need to make a name for yourself. You need to showcase your skills and prove that you’re ready to be put into the big game. Because our students enjoy a direct connection with the music industry as apprentices in real recording studios, most of our graduates move straight into employment after they graduate from our audio production school. We boast a 72% post graduation employment rate, higher than most audio schools in the country.* And even if you do not move directly into employment after you graduate, we offer a Job Assistance Program that lasts for up to a full year after you complete your studies. We do whatever we can to help you become gainfully employed, one way or another.
The Recording Connection in New Jersey is one of the very few educational institutions that actually cares about the welfare of its students. We go the extra mile to assist you on your journey.
* Job placement statistics represent the percentage of students who graduated between May 1, 2013 and April 30, 2014 and found work related to their studies within six months of their graduation.
