About the Massachusetts Recording Connection Audio Institute
The Recording Connection in Massachusetts is one of the most highly acclaimed music production schools in the country. With a post-graduation job placement rate of 72%, we are among the top 5% of audio engineering schools in the U.S.*
The secret of our success is our revolutionary mentor-apprentice (extern) approach. We place you in a real recording studio and pair you with a working music industry veteran who will help guide you through the trials of the industry.
We make sure that all of our students are prepared for a career in the music industry. We give them all the skills that they could need and help them gain valuable experience through real world training. We teach all of our students Ableton, Logic, Reason, and Pro Tools, as well as signal flow, mic placement, mixing, mastering and more. We want you to be prepared to work in any recording studio in the world.
The Recording Connection in Massachusetts is available everywhere within the state’s boundaries. Whether you live in Boston, Cambridge or Springfield, we can place you in a real recording studio near where you live. We have locations in nearly every city in Massachusetts.
At the Recording Connection, we don’t want you to have to worry about paying off massive student loans after you graduate. We want you to go out and make amazing music. In the music industry, sometimes you’re working for low wages while you get your foot in the door, and if you’re burdened with debt, you might not feel like you can take the risk. That’s why we keep our tuition rates among the lowest in the industry, so you can graduate debt free and get on with your career.
We are focused around a single idea: helping you make connections. In this business, connections mean everything. You’ll only be as successful as the people you know. You’ll only move up if you know people in positions of power. The Recording Connection in Massachusetts understands this and places the maximum amount of emphasis upon networking and gaining connections. That’s why we put you in a real recording studio from day one.
* Job placement statistics represent the percentage of students who graduated between May 1, 2013 and April 30, 2014 and found work related to their studies within six months of their graduation.
