The Recording Connection Moves to World Famous Los Angeles Center Studios
LOS ANGELES, CA–(December 1, 2011))–The Recording Connection Audio Institute, a division of the Mentor Apprentice School of the Arts (MASA), providing certificate programs in all aspects of music recording, announced the company has moved its corporate headquarters to the world famous Los Angeles Center Studios at 1201 West 5th Street, Suite M130, Los Angeles, CA 90017. The Recording Connection is the innovator of the mentor/apprentice method of education.
“We outgrew our location previous corporate headquarters and when space became available at the Los Angeles Center Studios we decided to jump at the opportunity,” said Brian Kraft, chief operations officer of The Recording Connection. “Throughout our curriculum, we are always stressing how important connections are so what better place to nurture new and important recording industry connections at the world famous Los Angeles Center Studios, home to so many famous entertainment professionals and their productions.”
The Studios houses six state-of-the-art sound stages used by productions including Def Leppart, Goo Goo Dolls, Guns and Roses, Janet Jackson, Destiny’s Child and many more.
The Recording Connection is an accredited private recording school offering structured course curriculums in for students who want to be a music producer, audio engineer, studio owner, live sound engineer, mixer or recording artist. Students learn in private, one-on-one sessions serving as an apprentice (extern) under a real life music producer, chief engineer or recording studio owner. The courses are conducted at real recording studios from professional audio engineers, music producers, studio owners or music business professionals along with a structured course curriculum learning the digital software that is transforming the recording industry today including Pro Tools, Reason, Logic, Q-Base, Abelton Live, the console, analog recording and more.
The Recording Connection is a member in good standing with The National Association of Music Education (MENC), the prestigious Audio Engineering Society (AES), the American Music Producers Guild (AMP), The Recording Academy, which is the official accreditation for schools granted by The Grammy Awards, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), the Society of Professional Audio Recording Services (SPARS) and is a Certified Training Center for Avid (formerly Digi Design) Pro Tools.
