Learn about the professional equipment the pros use.
"So I started my first official lesson with my mentor this week, and since I have started with the Recording Connection program, I have already sat in on a recording session and I have already learned a lot! When I was working on the first lesson assigned to me by the program with my mentor, he taught me the basics on starting up a professional recording session! I also got to learn about the 3 different files that are used for recording, which are WAV, AIFF, and SDII. I learned that WAV is the most common one used. I also was trained about Bit Depth, and Sample Rate. Turns out, the higher the sample rate is, the more space it takes up on a computer. 96KHRZ is the biggest, and when you record with it, the final project sounds HD! After the lesson ended, my mentor let me open up his Pro Tools equipment and he let me mess around with some stuff. Of course I did not know what I was doing, but when I start getting some instruments recorded in my mentors’ studio, I am sure I will pick it up fast! So far everything is going very well! I am excited to continue my education with my mentor and the Recording Connection!"
