Refund Policy for Wisconsin Students

As defined by Wisconsin Educational Approval Board Refund Standards (EAB 8.03 and EAB 8.05)

Recording Radio Film Connection’s refund policy shall provide a full refund of all money paid by the student if:

  1. The student cancels enrollment within 3 business days under s. EAB 6.04;
  2. The student accepted was unqualified and the school did not secure a disclaimer under s. EAB 9.04;
  3. The school procured the student’s enrollment as the result of any false representations in the written materials used by the school or in oral representations made by or on behalf of the school.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PROGRAM

You can elect to withdraw at any time and contact us in any manner to request the withdrawal.
We will honor any valid notice of withdrawal given after the 3-business-day cancellation period. Within 30 calendar days, after dismissal or receipt of notice of withdrawal, we will refund any amounts due.

You may withdraw from the school at any time and receive a pro rata refund if you have completed 60 percent or less of the scheduled days in your program through the last day of attendance.
For the purpose of determining the amount of the refund, the date of your withdrawal shall be deemed the last date of recorded attendance. The amount owed equals the hourly charge for the program (total institutional charge divided by the number of hours in the program), multiplied by the number of hours scheduled to attend, prior to withdrawal.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION

You may cancel this transaction, without any penalty or obligation, within three business days from the above date. (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not business days.) If you cancel, any property traded in, any payments made by you under the contract or sale, and any negotiable instruments executed by you will be returned within 10 business days following receipt by the seller of your cancellation notice, and any security interest arising out of the transaction will be canceled. If you cancel, you must make available to the seller at your residence, in substantially as good condition as when received, any goods delivered to you under this contract or sale; or you may, if you wish, comply with the instructions of the seller regarding the return shipment of the goods at the seller’s expense and risk. If you do make the goods available to the seller and the seller does not pick them up within 20 days of the date of your notice of cancellation, you may retain or dispose of the goods without any further obligation. To cancel this transaction, mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of this cancellation notice or any other written notice, or send a telegram to, Recording Radio Film Connection at, 1201 W. 5th Street, M-130, Los Angeles, CA 90017 not later than midnight of (Date: ) Note: Purchase of educational goods and services offered by a school is deemed to take place when written and final acceptance is communicated to the student by the school. If the representative who enrolls you is authorized to grant written acceptance at the time you enroll, and does so, the cancellation period ends at the time specified above. If you have not been accepted in writing at the time you enroll, the cancellation period does not end until midnight of the third business day after the day you receive written acceptance by certified mail from the school.
