Recording Connection Refund Policy
The Recording Connection is a fully accredited audio engineering and music producing program that is in full compliance with state and federal refund regulation policies.
While most of our students never need or ask for a refund, our complete refund policy is described in detail below. Please show this to your parent, guardian, or anyone else who is helping you to afford your tuition.
Refund Policy
If a student has not started the program and has not completed an assignment, the Recording Connection will refund the entire tuition, minus any applicable cancellation fees.
You have a right to cancel your program until midnight of the 8th business day from which your course has started. Please refer to The California Education Code, section 94867 on page 2.
If a student has started the program and wishes to drop out, and Recording Connection determines that the student is eligible for a refund, Recording Connection will calculate the refund amount based on the student's completion percentage. For example, if 10% of the program has been completed, the Recording Connection Audio Institute will retain the startup costs of $2,500.00 plus 10% of the tuition cost. When at least 65% of the program has been completed, no refund will be granted.
Refund of Tuition Charges:
The following prorate chart shall be used to establish the percentage of tuition due, depending on how much of the program that has been completed:
The chart below offers an example of how the prorated refund is calculated. Percentages based on the amount of $5,250.00, which is the portion of tuition eligible for refund considering that the student has paid their tuition in full. Full tuition = $7,750.00
