MUSIC RECORDING SCHOOL

Welcome to the Recording Connection School for Audio Engineering and Music Producing.  As you have probably heard, we are the school that says NO to overpriced college classrooms and YES to getting YOU trained inside a real recording studio, where you will learn all you need to know and make the ALL IMPORTANT CONNECTIONS you must have to get your start in the music business as an audio engineer or music producer.

Did you ever think that there would be a school that could get you an apprenticeship inside a real recording studio? Recording Connection is not just the fastest,   most effective, least expensive way to learn audio recording; we are also the only school that offers you the opportunity to make real-world connections while you train.

There is no doubt about it, the only way to have a thriving careers in music is to know lots of people.  And the only way to know people is to get out there into real-world recording studios and  start networking.  Why then would you waste 30, 40, 50 thousand dollars and the next year or two of your life sitting in a classroom when you could be inside a real recording studio tomorrow, learning and making connections, for under $7000?   But don't take our word for it....

STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

I signed up with the Recording Connection program after doing a lot of research on other schools.  After I went through an initial interview process with one of their admission counselors, I met my mentor at Sonic Park Recording New York (where I live).  It was rather ironic that my mentor has a friend who sent his son to one of those big name music recording schools  and my mentor said that when the kid graduated after two years, he knew nothing.

I'm currently enrolled in the Recording Connection and have gone through ten sessions.  They are so cool!  I sit in the studio at the boards with real producers and audio engineers.  They also let me go out with them on remote recording sessions.  Last week the gig was at the Yamaha Theatre in New York City, where we recorded the famous jazz trumpet player, Tiger Okoshi.  I made a lot of contacts while I was on this remote location.  I'm a musician too, and when I have my next demo done, Tiger told me to send it to him.  A real musician wants to hear my music!  So I'm already making contacts with real players and other engineers while I'm training.

What I love about this program is that you're not an intern.  I mean, sure I do whatever I can to help out, but they really pay special attention to me and give me the one-on-one time that I had always hoped for.

Thanks, Recording Connection.  I'm 100% happy with your school.  Thanks for doing what you said, and how you said, you were going to do.  And thanks for saving me the $60,000 I would have wasted if I had gone to a recording college!

Justin Robinson went to school with us and learned audio engineering one-on-one and is now working in the recording business because of the connections he met through our school. Justin talks about why our school works.

MENTOR TESTIMONIAL

I've been a Recording Connection mentor for almost three years now.  To see the Recording Connection students coming in here, progressing, doing stuff is the most rewarding thing.  They are actually doing things.    They're not reading a book sitting in a classroom; they're involved in all aspects of the studio.  The mentor apprentice  approach to learning the music business is fantastic.  At Recording Connection, the students don't just learn to record, they learn the studio business.
