Audio Engineer Program

The Music Recording Connection Audio Engineer School Alternative will train you, in a real recording studio, with a music recording professional as your mentor. The music producer is the behind the scenes maestro who pulls together the entire recording session. On the film set, a director is the boss. In a recording studio, the music producer is the boss. The music producer has many roles. They run the recording sessions, interact with all the talent, handle logistics and budgets and are responsible for the recording, mixing and mastering.

Recording Connection's Recording Institute, your alternative to Music and Recording schools, offers private, one-on-one training in audio engineering, music producing and live-event sound in the real world. We have thousands of private tutors and mentors to choose from and because you will be learning and apprenticing where you live, there are no relocations costs. We oftentimes can be quite flexible in our scheduling too, so you don't have to quit your "day job" to go to our recording school alternative.

Learn Pro Tools, Reason, Logic, Q-Base, Abelton Live, the console, analog recording and more in private, one-on-one or two-on-one sessions in real recording studios. Your teacher is a real audio engineer, music producer, session player or music business professional that takes you through our structured course curriculum in his professional studio. No experience is required. Part Time, Nights and Weekend courses are available. This allows you to train around your current job.
