FAQs

We want you to know that you don’t need to put your life on hold while working towards your goals. That’s why we work with you, your Mentor, and your Academic Facilitator to create a schedule that is flexible and accommodating. Our Hip-Hop mentors know that the music industry never sleeps, and they’re used to working odd hours. So, if you’re only available to work on your music dreams at unconventional times, we’re here for you. With the Recording Connection Hip-Hop and Beatmaking program, you can embrace your passion for music while still living your life.

While we can’t guarantee you a job when you finish the program, we have a pretty good track record of getting people hired. More than 25,000 of our graduates have found success after our programs, whether that’s in the studio they externed in, with other studios based on mentor recommendations, or even with their own studios. Our immersive environment puts you alongside a professional Hip-Hop Music Producer, so you can see how music gets made in the real world. We also offer one year of job placement assistance to all of our graduates.

We understand that massive student loan debt can be daunting, so we’ve made it our mission to keep our Hip-Hop and Beatmaking Program tuition costs affordable. While some may spend up to $50,000 (or more) at a four-year university, our programs run around $15,000. That’s a massive difference! With our programs, you can still pursue your goals and passions without sacrificing your financial stability.

The Recording Connection Hip-Hop and Beatmaking Program lasts 6 month. It is broken down into 23 Hip-Hop Courses that immerses you in beginner to advanced concepts.

The truth is, experience alone won’t be enough to get you where you want to be. Other qualities, like enthusiasm, accountability, and hard work, are just as critical to being successful in the program. However, if you do have some background in hip hop and beat making, this will allow you to build on that experience.
