During his seven-year tenure at RRFCC, Christopher has not only helped thousands of prospective students realize their goals of breaking into their respective industries of interest, but he has also recruited many of the working media professionals that constitute our affiliate mentor base. It is this experience working closely with our mentors and prospective students that allows him to seamlessly match-make and find the right opportunities for our apprentices during their admissions processes.

Outside of RRFCC, Christopher is a long-time percussionist, having honed his skills at CSU Fullerton before eventually getting into studio session work and performing live at numerous venues in the Los Angeles area and abroad. Additionally, he currently manages a recording studio in North Hollywood that records and produces everything from rock bands to EDM artists.

I attended Los Angeles Film School, where I learned the true price of trade school. I’ve worked a variety of film jobs as an editor, art PA, script supervisor, and director. I enjoy talking to students about their ideas and how they plan to implement them. I also enjoy connecting our students with mentors who will know how to engage them and help them with their career.

I am an aspiring music producer and multimedia artist. Fresh out of high school, I was fortunate to land an apprenticeship with Chris Brown of Rebel Genius Collective. I have produced music for numerous artists, ranging from films and skate videos to rappers and singers. I graduated the Los Angeles Recording School for audio engineering and music production after attending the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver for composition and music theory. I’m currently working on the second EP for my band Owenstone, and the debut LP for hip-hop artist Sky King, as well as my own solo projects under the name Grey Matters. The most rewarding part of being an admissions representative at the RRFC is getting to share my knowledge and experience with our applicants and actually seeing success stories being made out of what starts as a simple conversation about the world of art.

After attending Full Sail University, I moved to Los Angles and began freelance engineering. Working mostly in the post-production world, I have worked with Billy Bob Thornton, Rosario Dawson, Tim Robbins and more. I have been able to work on many films, including Atlas Shrugged Part 2, Silent Night, The Brass Teapot and more. I enjoy being able to help our potential students get all the information they need to make the right decision for their careers. I want every student that I talk to to become a success story. Getting to hear the excitement in their voices when we talk really makes my day.
