We cover the basics of wave forms, such as wave length, frequency, amplitude etc. Dan also explained his studio's construction to me. We covered studio isolation and acoustics, and I learned the formula for finding problematic frequencies within a given room based on its dimensions. Dan played for me a recording he had done the night before with a band, showing me the basics of the mixing board. We discussed the different types of microphones and their applications. Dan also introduced me to Nuendo, and we did an exercise is critical listening.
